The Minutes

OLD HOME WEEK 2007

Top of the Park

All the gang was present and accounted for on this wonderful and fun-filled evening.

For me it was a quick lesson on how to lose money in four short hours. I bet, I lost, and I gambled in the Casino, I lost. I ate too much; I drank too much and was undoubtedly loud. So be it.

I would think the Lady Di was the big winner for the evening.
This is Diane off the buy the lucky ticket.

Diane buying lucky ticket..

Diane showing off her good fortune.

But was it the money she really won that made her smile? I think not! What made her smile and blush the most was a boy named Josh.

Happy or What?????

I don’t know if there were other winners, maybe so but none were happier that our Diane. Josh looks like he is enjoying himself OR is he thinking, this is going to be one big TIPPER!

It was great to see Janet Douglas at the table and I hear it wasn’t her first trip to the CDP this old home week and it won’t be her last.

CA has the salt shaker for her Draft and Diane is smiling at Josh.

Gus drops buy to say hello to Janet.

The Harpers, Doug, and Cousin’t Rhonda chats with Joni.

Diane telling Janet about her bet while Douglas looks amused.

The Birthday boy reads his cards while Jeanne and Cousin’t Rhonda look on. Please note the Cousin’t beautiful Bling. Keith lovely shirt is in the background.

Keith is not to be out done in the shirt department. He told us it was really for Carole in case he got lost.

Janet, Barbie and I went down to play the machines. I think Janet won a couple of hundred games and Barbie won enough to pay for her dinner. I just donated to the cause.

I think Joni should receive a huge thank you for arranging this wonderful night. It was GRAND!
